Hello SOMBA Families,

I hope you are all having a safe and fun filled summer! We are just finishing up a busy Summer season which saw our 13U peewee AA team take gold at Valley of Champions in Kelowna and also win zones in a highly competitive division to clinch a berth in the 2022 provincial tournament. Our 15U AA Bantam squad went to the final at Valley of Champions and took home silver as well as clinch a berth in the 2022 provincials. Other provincial tournament appearances included the 13U A peewee Tigers and 11U A mosquito team. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, volunteers and umpires who made the Summer season a great success! This is the first Summer since 2019 that we have had full programming in all divisions for the Summer season. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We are planning to open registration for Fall before the weekend. This will model years prior where second year players will move up to their new divisions for Spring 2023. This season has a heavy focus on coaching and development in order to prepare for the following Spring season. Prices will remain the same as last year. Dates and events, such as tournaments, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Enjoy the next month of summer! You all get a well deserved break before school. Thanks again for being part of a very special year for these kids! See you at the beach!
