The 11U Division offers new and returning players opportunities to develop their basic baseball skills, including pitching, catching, baserunning, hitting, fielding, and throwing. Games are player pitched.
Primary Field: McLaren Field at 1350 King Street Penticton, BC McLaren Park | City of Penticton
Equipment: batting helmet, baseball glove, protective jock/jill, baseball pants, cleats (runners for indoor facilities)
Programs:
Winter Training Program: January – March (indoor facilities)
Spring Recreational Program: April - June
BC Minor Summer Program (10U A, 11U AA and/or 11U AAA): June – July/August
Fall Recreational Program: September – mid-October (weather permitting)
Evaluations: Evaluations are used in Spring (early April) and Fall (early September) to assist in balanced team selection.
Tryouts: Tryouts are used in Summer (mid-late June) to select players with the skill level and commitment needed for this competitive level of play.
Coaching: The 11U program relies primarily on Volunteer Coaching, with Contract Coaching available for the Winter Training Program. Please register to Head Coach or Assistant Coach if you are able.
